Hi!! I’m an American studying French translation who loves to travel and meet new people! I lived in France last year as an au pair. I'm an outgoing, curious, and creative person who loves to discover new cities and cultures.

I studied anthropology in college and hope to continue doing research once I settle down and start my career! I love meeting people and having deep conversations about the world, their culture, and whatever is important to them.

I'm always trying to learn a new craft or skill! Lately, I've been knitting a lot, learning a bit of guitar, and trying to get the hang of my 35mm film camera.

I want to meet new people when I travel, especially locals who want to share their city and culture with me! Making new friends, even with people I only spend a few days with, is one of the things I love most about travellng. Once I'm back in the US and settled into a new place, I am also excited for the chance to host travellers from around the world!

My music taste varies a lot based on my mood/the time of year - I love American folk music, French and Italian 80s music, all different kinds of pop, and indie rock (to name a few). My favorite artists at the moment are Bahamas, Upstate, Lake Street Dive, Dave Van Ronk, St. Vincent, and Charli XCX.

Some of my favorite movies are Little Women (Greta Gerwig's version), Booksmart, Persepolis, and Moonstruck.

I read constantly (I usually have 2 or 3 books going at once lol) and am always looking for suggestions! I love contemporary fiction, social science, cultural critiques, romance novels, and lots in between.
