I'm outgoing, friendly and generally never say no to an adventure. I love to read, and I have brief bouts of creative writing which inevitably subside into half-start novels. I'm a foodie, and I love getting to know local food. I try to do yoga everyday and run if possible, but I almost always fail to do both. I'm not religious, I voted to stay in the EU, and I consider myself a good person for both those reasons.

I think that traveling is about meeting people. Yes there are tourist attractions, and cultural heritage sites, and instagram photos - but the heart of traveling is about meeting people who are different from you.

After I couchsurfed my way around Mauritius, I met amazing locals, ex-pats and travelers who made my time memorable. I can't think of a better way to travel.
