Hi! My name is Claire, and I am a music student here in Texas! I grew up in Austin Texas, I love to travel, and I love to meet new people. I am a vegan, so if that is an issue when it comes to me crashing at your place, I totally understand that. I have a wonderful boyfriend named Dan, and he loves to travel as much as I do! Most likely we will be traveling together, seeing as we love to explore together. I have never been out of the country, and I want to explore our world so bad its killing me!

Hotels are cool and all, but I really love meeting new people, and hearing all about their lives and their adventures! Making new friends is one of my favorite things to do, and I always enjoy hearing a new and exciting story!

Interests

I play the clarinet classically, so I will probably have my clarinet with me. If this is an issue, I can always not practice when I am in your home. No one wants to hear a clarinet when it is not asked for! I love hiking and camping, and exploring our national parks. I also really enjoy music of all kinds and going to concerts! I will probably be seeing a band or two while I am in your town!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love alternative indie music, such as The Shins, Alt J, Cold War Kids, Foster The People, Portugal. The Man, Royal Canoe, Sømændene, and Shakey Graves!

My favorite movie of all time is The Sound Of Music hands down. I also am a big fan of Kung Fu movies, Sci-Fi movies, and generally most films. I am also a huuuuuuge fan of the X Files.

My favorite book is probably The Gate Keeper by Orsen Scott Card right now. I love sci fi and fantasy novels, such as the ASOIAF novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have not done many amazing things in my life honestly. I am just a Texan native, which is rare in Austin now a days!
