I am from the west of Ireland and obsessed with travelling and exploring all over the world. I think I am quite a positive person. I try to be friendly and easy going.

I love the part of the world I grew up in so much and this has made me determined to see as much of the rest of the world as I can.

I am very outdoorsy, so when I travel I want to see different landscapes and natural sights. My favorite thing to do when I travel is to hike until I find the best view. When I visit cities, I also prefer to wander off the beaten path, which is why I love couch-surfing so much.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I joined couch-surfing the day before I went inter-railing in Europe in 2015. At this point I was 20 and on my first solo trip, and my experience of couch-surfing was amazing ...I got to see a film in the cutest cinema I've ever seen in Munich, and got a tour of Naples by scooter, and I'm sure I wouldn't have had such opportunities had it not been for couch surfing. Since then I’ve also stayed with very cool humans in Peru and America. At home I am always up to meet up in my free time in Dublin where I am currently studying.

I believe in trust and generosity and I am always honored that a ‘stranger’ would accept me into their home. This app reminds me constantly that there are kind people everywhere, willing to meet new people, share stories and enhance their visitor’s experience in a faraway place. It’s a great way to spread positivity :)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have traveled to Kenya twice on volunteer trips and spent time working in orphanages and schools there. Last year I volunteered with children in Cusco, Peru ...improving my Spanish and learning so much.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I know enough Spanish to get by. It’s rusty at the moment so I like any chance to practice! I am a final year vet student and will talk about animals all day long.
