After spending the last 5 years settled in Aberdeen (Scotland) and being part of a network of truly wonderful and inspiring people (seriously, go and couchsurf in Aberdeen!), I'm on the move again, travelling around Europe (no flying) before moving to Spain as soon as possible.

I've couchsurfed a couple of times and have indirectly hosted quite a few people on couchsurfing whilst I was living in some big community flats where couchsurfers would come through every few weeks (and sometimes every few days). Opening your home to wandering travellers and drinking tea together is about as wholesome as it gets.

It's not so much about the amazing things I've done as it is about the people I did them with.
Walking the Camino de Santiago this autumn (2019) was magical and the family I made there are the unicorns that made it so.

In my experience, there's no couchsurfer quite so welcome as the one who offers to cook a meal. My (vegetarian/vegan) cooking skills are at your service!
