Hello new friends.. I am new to couch surfing but give me a go:)

My name is Claire and I live in Melbourne Australia where I work as a nurse. I have been travelling around Asia for the last 7 months and now I am off to Europe. I'm friendly and easy going and looking forward to meeting some great people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet 'the locals' rather then staying in hostels all the time and just meeting other travellers. Although other travellers are fun, it's always much better to get a feel of a new country and learn the ins and outs of a city from people who live and breathe it :)

Interests

I love to read, Mostly non fiction, real stories about amazing people or places..

I love travel.. I love how it pushes you out of your comfort zone, exposes you to such a diverse range of people, places, cultures.. I think it is the best way to learn, about yourself, others and the world!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I work as an emergency nurse in Melbourne and I spent a month in India working in a slum clinic, I also got to go around to different hospitals.. It was a pretty amazing experience.

I have also just finished trekking for a month through the Himalayas, every day took my breath away, it was so beautiful!!
