CURRENT MISSION

We got married in August and decided that a two week honeymoon in the Costa Del Sol wasn't enough for us so we packed in our jobs and set off on a 9 month round-the-world trip!

ABOUT ME

We are in our early thirties and currently live in Greenwich in London (we are originally from Wales and Kent). We have travelled and partied lots in our twenties and thought it is now time to grow up and act like adults, but we thought we would set off on a nine month honeymoon extravaganza first!!

We have met some excellent friends while travelling and hope to continue to do so through couchsurfing! We are not just after a free couch, what we are really interested in is meeting and socialising with new people and getting a locals view on the area!

We are very sociable people and we are pretty easy to get on with. We are also considerate house guests, who are clean and tidy and always prepare to buy our host a beer or two to say thank you!

We are completely new to couchsurfing but hope to surf over the next few months while travelling and then host as soon as we get back to the UK.

Interests

Travelling...lots! Socialising, mainly pubbing but not so much clubbing anymore. Reading, cycling, going to the gym, rugby, eating out and cooking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering at a orphanage in Romania for children with HIV, working in a hospital in India. Machu Pichu, Taj Mahal, sky diving over Cape Town and the Great Barrier Reef, cage diving with great white sharks, trekking in the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia, cuddling tigers......and much more.
