CURRENT MISSION

I want to open my eyes to the world and really feel it, trip out on it, and choose to be happy every single day. The universe is a glorious place and I'm glad to be a tiny part of it.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old female who's trying to make the most out of every day. I have many different loves...writing poetry, reading, being outside, yoga, art, people, traveling, eating, drinking, but mainly just trying to get something special out of every day.

I'm majoring in English at UVA and I'm kind of dreading graduation (1 year away), so right now I'm in Europe just living in the moment.

I'm accepting and open and ready to make new friends. I definitely believe in Karma but overall I'm chill with whoever you are and whatever you believe. I'd love to talk with you!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a beautiful thing and you only get to live each day once! Sure, there are bad days, and you have to deal with those, but I believe that you can wake up and decide to see the positive, decide to pay attention, and do your best to be truly awake.

I've known about Couchsurfing for several years, but have never actually used the site until now (July 2016)

I have the traveling bug! I want to meet new people, work and volunteer in different places, experience the local flavor, and grow as a person.

兴趣

I love being outside. Hiking, sleeping in the sun, picnics, running around in parks, chilling on beaches...

I'm on my way to a yoga teacher training in Hawaii! I love yoga and the philosophy behind it. I've been reading about mindfulness, meditation, and Buddhist tradition.

I'm an aspiring poet, so I'm just trying to keep my eyes open to all the little things around me.

I love cooking and eating, and I'd really love to spend time experiencing great food while abroad.

I am interested and beginning to learn about holistic healing and different healing modalities. I'm going to Hawaii for a 200 hour Yoga teacher training.
