About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Slowly evolving toward a new way of life in the countryside. Trying to focus on what really matters and letting go of eveything else, little by little.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Normandy, France, and after a few years of travelling around the world and living in other countries, I finally settled down back to my native area. I have always felt that I could live almost anywhere, and be happy everywhere, I have no specific attachement to my birthplace, but it is where the heart is, still : friends and family living nearby, etc. Normandy is also a nice place to visit when you come to France, and I'm always glad to show people around and help them discover.

PHILOSOPHY

Try and be happy with the minimum possible. Open my eyes and my mind to the world, learn and discover as much as possible. Fight the routine and boredom, trying to never let them settle in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offer housing whenever I can, and I always try to get to know a little the people I host. Love to give advice or tips for visiting/traveling around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a few people back in Paris, and benefited a lot from others' help during my trips. I have hosted quite a few people in the last years when I was living in Romania, and now I live in a house with an extra bedroom, so I'm glad to open it up again for new guests !

Interests

Traveling (that goes without saying), learning new languages, playing the guitar, hiking and trekking, reading, riding my bike.
If I had to stick with one single hobby though, it would be horseback riding.

Music, Movies, and Books

From classical music to electronic trance, including reggae, rock and blues...pretty much everything except maybe rap and metal that I don't really understand. Oh, and I hate "club music".

English and French literature, historical and sci-fi novels.

Love movies (who doesn't?) of all kinds. Comedies, thrillers, controversial movies...
Anything smart, really, except horror movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 20 day hike in the Annapurna mountains in Nepal...a wonder !

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach simple guitar, give hiking tips, and teach basic yoga moves.

I'm always willing to learn what other people can teach too : new languages, cooking recipes, anything !

What I Can Share with Hosts

My house, my food, my time and hopefully a few laughs and good conversation.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Greece, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Peru, Portugal, Romania, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
