Alséa is our lil girl, 15 months old, she's awesome - very smiley, chilled out and friendly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, we've only just joined the Couch Surfing project, though we've both heard of this website over the years. We're travelling right now, so we don't have a couch free for surfin' at the mo, but when we're back home in Oz, we'll be living in or around Byron Bay, which will definitely mean we'll have a busy (and fun) living room! ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

To be honest, I've definitely had more surfers on my couch (though not through the CS Project), than been surfing on other folk's couches over the years... It's been awesomely fun at times having randoms and familiars staying in the various share-houses i've lived in, but there's also been the bad ones. You know 'em. They leave there shit everywhere, don't do their dishes, eat your last kit kat and drink all your beer, lol ;)... so i reckon now that i'm gonna be a surfer, I have a pretty good idea of how to make it a fun and cool exchange, rather than a drag you can't wait to end. I like cooking, and I'm a tidy person, so i'll more than pull my weight, and if you're into music, we can even have a jam if you're keen..

Performed with the support act for Manu Chao at the Brixton Academy in London in 2007. That was pretty amazing.

Music - we can play together! Or, if you have access to a guitar or piano, i can show you a few things if you want? Also, I dig numerology, so if you like, I can figure out your numbers and what they might indicate about you...all with a pinch of salt, of course ;)
Laurent can give you a hand to fix something that needs fixing (or at least point you in the right direction if it's a big job!). We've both travelled to some cool places, and seen loads of beautiful stuff, so we can exchange info n stories about travels, if you want.. Hmmm, what else? If we find a car, we'll have a spare seat to Burning Man ;)...
