ABOUT ME

I am a positive person, realistic with a hint of optimism. I am evolving into someone who prefers to have discussions about more 'meaningful' things ...but get me talking about food or movies and I can go for hours! I can form an opinion on almost anything with a bit of knowledge and enjoy knowledge in other people.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to be more world conscious, buying food and other products from local and ethical origins. Its a work in progress :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't couchsurfed before but will be travelling through North and South America mid-March to end of July 2014 and would love to try it on the experiences I've heard from friends.

Interests

Books, music, food, friends, movies, hiking, nature/outdoors, experiencing new things, philosophical discussions.

I play soccer, netball, and tennis but since joining my soccer club in 2009, training and playing soccer has become a love! I will be travelling to the 2014 Brazil World Cup to further my love of the sport!

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE both books and movies. I used to work in a video store and have extensive knowledge and opinions on all things movies!
Second hand books are a weakness for me!
I enjoy a large range of music, WOMAD being one of my most favourite things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking in Annapurna, Nepal and living with a Tibetan family in Nepal
South-western Australia, in general! -gorgeous beaches, forests, wine and food!

Teach, Learn, Share

I should (technically!) able to share my learning about the human body and illness with years of study including current study of paramedicine.
I am going to try to learn some Spanish for my travels through South America in June/July 2014.
