I'm an easygoing American currently teaching English in France. I don't like feeling tied down in one place for too long, so naturally I love travelling, trying new things, and experiencing new cultures. I studied linguistics and French at the University of Nevada, Reno, and graduated in 2016. As part of my studies, I also lived in Southwest France for a semester in 2014. During that experience, I had the opportunity to travel extensively in Western Europe with my cousin, but there is always more to see, and I'm always itching to go new places!

Currently, I'm living in Nice, France, teaching English in a French high school. I'm loving being on the sea and being abroad, and am looking forward to all the travel I will be able to do while I'm here.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When I was in Europe in 2014, I travelled around with my cousin and we used Couchsurfing much of the time. We only ever had wonderful experiences, and got to meet quite a few very kind, generous, and all-around wonderful hosts. It's always such a pleasure to meet people from other places and see other cultures. Meeting locals in a new place really is a treat!

兴趣

Traveling, obviously. Being somewhere I've never been.
I love food - eating and cooking! One of my favorite things about traveling is trying new foods, and I like to think I'll try almost anything. I also will never say no to a good beer :)
I read a lot, and I like lots of different types of books. I'm a big fan of Kurt Vonnegut.
Also seeing live music, seeing and learning about art, learning new things in general, and being around people whose company I enjoy.
