Born-and-raised California girl trying to see the world! I am currently an Au pair for a family in Southern France in the Gulf of Saint Tropez. I will be here until November and then am heading to Strasbourg, for another 6 weeks! I am trying to go travel/take weekend trips when I have the chance, and recently spent a week in Norway and would love to go back soon! I love sunsets, good coffee, leisurely drives, live music, dancing, running, hiking, and taking lots of pictures along the way. I love meeting new people, learning about their experiences and I love to exploring new places. I try to always live in the moment, count my blessings and make sure every day counts :)

I am still new to couchsurfing, but have had two amazing experiences so far and want to have many more :) I feel that it is a very different and (more rewarding) experience to stay with a host and get to know someone new, have a local's perspective on the city you are visiting, and even make a friend or two. This is the first time I am traveling on my own, and I want to try something new, step out of my comfort zone and meet some new people! I really enjoy helping people and think it is really important to do in life so one day in the future when I have settled, I plan to return the favor and help fellow couch surfers out!

Music: My music interests fall on a wide spectrum and I absolutely love learning about new music! I particularly love alternative/indie, pop, and electronic music. Some of my favorites are Odesza, Bon Iver, Flume, Alt-J, Milky Chance, CHVRCHES, Coldplay, Florence + The Machine, Chet Faker, Lana Del Rey, Kygo, St. Lucia and Borns!

Books: I'm not much of a reader but would like to do it more. I recently read The Alchemist for the first time loved it, and am currently reading Wild by Cheryl Strayed! Would love some good book recommendations :)

Movies: Also not a big movie person but some that I really like include The Intouchables, Cool Runnings, Midnight in Paris, Love Actually, Secret Life of Walter Mitty, 21 Jump Street, and Les Miserables
