I tend to define myself by the values that lead me everyday –feminism, anti-capitalism, anti-racism, aka the wish to dismantle all systems of oppression and reconstruct a fairer world.

But I guess it's mostly my bad jokes that revert upon me half the time that describe me best 🤷🏼

Jokes aside, I'm a sociable person most at ease in a deep conversation rather than small talk, which I'm okay at but don't really enjoy. I also value time on my own as it renergizes me, so I think the two form a good balance.

I try to make the time to take care of my body and soul by practicing yoga, moving, resting., and I sometimes fail!
I like caring for those around me, my friends, family, animals, the environment, and, less directly, by learning about others' experiences through reading, listening to podcasts and music, protesting, etc.

You'll often find me getting excited at the sight of a dog or a beautiful veggie or vegan meal, pausing to listen to birdsongs, meticulously preparing my coffee, reading, goofying around... My happiest discovery so far in 2022 is that I'm a joker, at least in French

I've been listening to James Blake <3, Stromae, Clara Luciani, Khruangbin, Lil Nas X, Lido Pimienta a lot these days, but I discovered music with the Beatles, later Fleetwood Mac, Led Zepp, the Clash... I find it hard not to mention them all as listening to music is a great passion of mine, so I'll direct you to my spotify playlists (claradieuse)

I ditched literary classics which I read when I was youger for contemporary feminist and post-colonial fiction and essays. Authors I love are Bernardine Evaristo, Margaret Atwood, Edouard Louis, Silvia Federici, Angela Y. Davis and more!

When it comes to films, I have watched many from various genres and do not really have preferences, it depends on my mood. These days I confess loving series on Netflix like Sex Education, Stranger Things, the Office, Love and Anarchy.
