Hi! I'm Clara, 29. I grew up in Polynesia and in Kanaky/New-Caledonia.

I'm curious about eveything and I love to learn! I studied philosophy, literature and film-making in France, and I am now a digital nomad, coding software, mobile apps and websites as I travel the world. I am hitchhiking a lot and love to go off the beaten tracks.

I am now traveling with my friend Chong Earn, met on the road. We are now hitchhiking through SE Asia all the way to northern China to study Kung Fu in a shaolin school.

Couchsurfing and hitchhiking lead to a more real, intense, human way of travelling, and I am always amazed by the countless magical encounters, surprising situations, and beautiful moments it creates. It's a way to connect with fantastic people I'd never have the chance to meet otherwise.

When I explore a country, I love to discover its culture, its language, its people, their ways of living, of thinking, the way society works... and I love to meet fellow travellers too! Couchsurfing is also amazing for this. When I finally get a home, I'd love to give a roof to fellow couchsurfers.

• I grew up with the Harry Potter books, they will always have a very special place in my heart.
• I love all kind of philosophy texts, especially by Nietzsche, Camus, Bakounine, Hannah Arendt, Sartre, Aristotle, Marx, Socrate/Plato, Stirner, the Stoics, Epicurius, Oscar Wilde, Orwell, Huxley, and so on!
• I had a recent crush on "The Knight in Rusty Armor" by Fischer, this short and unknown book is a real marvel!
• I also like poetry, especially Nerval, Rimbaud, Marboeuf, Baudelaire.

- Films -
• TV Series : Queen's Gambit, Mr Robot, Black Mirror, Sherlock, Sense 8, Stranger Things.
• Films : way to many to list here... Here are some of them to give you an idea : The Matrix, Jodorowsky's Poesia sin fin, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Cloud Atlas, Queen of Katwe, Waking Life, The Wall, Interstellar, I Origins, Hackers, Brazil, Everything Everywhere All at Once, etc.

- Video Games -
• I love indie games : Life is Strange, Beholder, Cloudpunk, The Lion Song, Orwell, The Stanley Parable, 1979 Revolution, etc.
• Pokemon, Tomb Raider and Spyro had a very special place throughout my childhood.
• I'm not playing so much mainstream games anymore, but I'll be happy to join a game of Valorant, Apex, Lol, Call of or anything really! :)
• Not exactly a video game - I used to play Laser Game in competition as a teenager. Haven't played for 10 years now, but I'd be very happy to join a game again.

I also love to learn/experiment meditation, alternative medecines and yoga, to play sports and chess, to learn about sciences, and to admire and practice all kinds of arts!
