I am Clara from Indonesia and I have been studying abroad since 2008 to Singapore, China, Malaysia and now Denmark. This year I hope to be able to experience European local culture that I feel is very different to the one in Asia especially the food and the drinking :p.

I feel that Couchsurfing has allowed travelers from various countries to really experience the local culture by staying with the host. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people who also love to travel and share their experiences. I really hope that I can meet new people and experience the local culture.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I think the most memorable thing that I have done is when I did a research in Borneo rainforest on the distribution of birds. I had to walk as early as 5 a.m. in the morning to observe birds and walk in the forest in darkness. Went to one of the biggest cave in the world and saw the bats, glowing worms and many more. I can really feel how the air in the forest is so much cleaner and fresher than the air in the cities.

I hope that I can learn how to cook the local food and learn the country's culture.

Hopefully I can share Asian food if the ingredients are available in nearby supermarkets.
