Hi everyone,
I guess I'll start with the basics, I'm a french girl married to a japanese men, living in the south of Japan for more than 5 years now. I'm a fashion and costume designer specialized in historical fashion and my husband is a musician, we both are always moving quite a lot between France and Japan for work, but we also love to travel around and meet lots of people from all around the world!

We are hoping to be able to visit more countries in the future, go back to some others, and I believe the best way is to discover it through the people living there!
I'm not always around as I move quite a lot for work and I don't live only by myself (I live together with my husband and mother in the law) this is why I can maybe host some guests, depending on the people living with me and if I'm in Japan at that time.

Intereses

I obviously love fashion and especially historical fashion, I'm passionate about all traditional clothing around the world. I'm very fund of japanese traditional culture, I'm currently learning kistuke (the art of wearing kimonos) and wasai (making kimonos). I love tea and sweets, period movies or fantasy/science fiction one, watching dramas with my husband, I'm dreaming of visiting Mongolia, Nepal, Island and many other countries!

I also love music, I used to play violin a lot when I was younger, I used to be a big metalhead, still listening to metal sometimes, but also a lot of UK folk/pop/rock, electro ambient music, post rock, celtic music etc etc…
My favorite movies are The Lord of the Rings, Brokeback Mountain, Billy Elliot, Big Fish.
I'm a big fan of fantasy literature, like The Sword of truth, all series from Robin Hobb etc..

I think going to Japan for the first time to get married, without speaking any japanese at the time was pretty brave, even though it felt natural!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I currently live with my husband and my mother in the law in the big family house where we moved back in after my husband's dad passed away.
They are both very open and welcoming, very good hosts, my husband cooks very tasty pastas, and his mom is a great cooker ! I can of course tell you a lot of things about the Kansai area in Japan, recommend some visit spots, talk to you about all cultural differences and manners.
If can also share about my hometown and Rouen and normandy if you are interested!
