My parents moved from Germany to Asia when my brother and I were 3 and 2 years old, which meant that I lived in China and Thailand for most of my childhood. We attended local Kindergarten and primary school in China and then later went to an International School in Thailand. Growing up cross-culturally has shaped me and blessed me with so many special friends, experiences and memories. It has also lead me to study International Social Work, and I am currently on an exchange program in England.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been told this is a great way to meet people while traveling. And from a spontaneous experience of couchsurfing, while hitchhiking in the UK, I realised that the best way to get to know a city, is through meeting its people, so I think this is a wonderful opportunity!
