Hi, I am Clara, a 21 years old backbacker from Syke, a cosy, little town near by Bremen in the north of Germany. Last autum I started my psychology studies and moved into a shared flat in Münster, a rainy but beautiful city further west.
I like travelling, going out with my friends, baking, playing theatre, singing off-key and doing creativ stuff like painting or sewing. I am easy-goining, open-minded and I am sure, the glass is half full!
(...Maybe except for a glass of good beer which seems half-empty quite fast ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and prefer to leave the beaten path of tourists. Getting to know other people is the best part of travelling, this is why I am here!
Two years ago I finished Highschool and spend one year with work-and-travel in New Zealand. I worked on a vineyard and in a restaurant for example, hitch-hiked all over the country and did some great tracks. However the best part of my trip was to get to know so many lovely people, their stories and lifestyles. For example I spend a lot of weeks WWOOFing (WWOOF=Willing Workers On Organic Farms), working for board and lodge for New Zealand people and ended up making very good friends all ages.
I did couchsurfing on shorter stays. For example on my trip to Australia, where I spend a great Easter (thanks to Chris! :)
So I am really looking forward to couchsurf in other countries. My next trip is going to Sweden. I am so excited! :)

One stormy and rainy day I climbed the Mt Doom in Mordor and threw a ring of aluminum wrap in the fire to save the world ;)
