ABOUT ME

If you asked my friends what kind of things make me happy, they would probably say: Send her outside, let her spend half the day running through the forest and up some mountains (no matter what the weather is like), and when she comes back give her some apple cake and lots of black tea and talk about basically everything with her! And afterwards let her cook something for you, eat with her and be patient waiting until she's finished her meal (no matter how slowly you eat, she'll always be last).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed in Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania, and me and my boyfriend have hosted some guests in our flat in Jena during the last two years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Few but great! With a friend I went for a weekend trip with our bikes in the Aarhus region and we stayed at an amazing woman's house which is full of weaving equipment (because she is a weaver) AND full of nice food and interesting conversations (because she is a wonderful and fascinating woman).

All other people I stayed with were very friendly as well and I enjoyed the time there. And having them here in our town was cool as well!

Interessen

I am much of an "outside-all-the-time" person. I love cykling, hiking, walking and spending time in every possible place if it's outside. Apart from that I like cooking, baking, eating, talking and inviting people for joining me with all that. The Danish "hygge" suits me perfectly, but most after coming back from a few hours outside!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Going on a ferry on a stormy day when everyone else was sick - I was lucky enough not to be sick and I watched the amazing going-up-and-down of the ship and the sea around.

Being spontaneously invited by a cafe-owner in Wales to stay at his house - every other bed in the region seemed to be booked, so my boyfriend and me began to be a little worried.
