Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to CS, but I can't wait to give it a go!!!
I am always up for adventure, love meeting new people, and want to travel as much as possible-- when I saw this, it seemed like a brilliant way to do all three!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests
I am a theatre nut-- director, producer, and lighting designer. I spend most of my time working on and watching plays and musicals, and I absolutely love it! I realized a few years ago that theatre is something that I can't live without, so I am pursuing a career as an Artistic Director. I'm also into film, read a ton (mainly classics, dystopian, fantasy), play pool and cards, and love music and visual arts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Like I said, I'm a huge theatre person, so I am always awestruck by a brilliant performance (of any type). Whether it's drama, film, dance, music, sports, a truly great speech-- I love watching people work and thrive, totally in their element. Specific examples: Dave Matthews Band in concert (which I've seen twice and love madly), Heath Ledger in 'The Dark Knight', a dance piece called 'Babel', one-man shows...
When my first show went up, I was absolutely awestruck. I couldn't believe that it was actually happening, and I still have that feeling every opening night!
I was also lucky enough to be able to spend some time working with children in a small village called Orosi, in Costa Rica-- trading Spanish/English vocabulary and stories with them was a fantastic experience, and I won't forget it anytime soon.
