Relationships are very important to me, and i am loyal and caring with people i know well. I have worked as a nurse and am a good listener! and i like to think i am good to talk to. I can be shy, quiet and serious, or boisterous and silly if i am feeling confident, i love laughing and meeting people and learning about different ways of doing things. I try to understand and respect people even if they are very different from myself.

met lots of great folks that have come through sydney, danced on the opera house in the rain! played music in the street, i got a lift when i was hitchiking in brisbane and then hosted the same people when they were in sydney :)

Interests

I have been nursing for the last two years, thats been pretty interesting and lifechanging in a way, i love trapeze and ariel silks and unicycling, i like to play guitar and sing, i like drawing, making little things for people, reading, and i love my family and friends and hanging out with them. oh and i love hitchiking : )

i love music, i play a little guitar, i like Joanna newsom, Amanda Palmer, Suyjan stevens, Emilliana Torrini, Radiohead, Tegan and Sara, Regina spektor, bat for lashes,Cat Power, the National, the knife, La roux, sigur ros,the crooked fiddle band... and lots of other stuff...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

climbing to the top of a mountain with my lover and our dog and being swooped by a big eagle, terrifying and amazing!
working in intensive care, many sad and wonderful moments there.
hitchiking in australia, so many amazing people met, stories heard and adventures had.
protesting, sometimes scary, sometimes fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach a bit of basic guitar, and share advice, want to learn pretty much everything, mechanics, languages, paramedics, and circus skills.
