About Me
Hello! I'm working as an English teacher and freelance writer/editor in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France. I plan to do a lot of travel over the next year and will be looking to meet new people. I'm a thoughtful guest and have traveled/lived in many parts of Europe. I've met some of my favorite people while hosteling and couch surfing. I love the open attitudes, willingness to help, and genuine human interest I've seen.
I love to think and talk about art—all kinds! Painting, sculpture, modern, ancient, music, film, you name it :) I have a near-encyclopedic knowledge of 60-70s British and American rock. I like Belgian beer and French wine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet people from different cultures and I've found that staying with locals is one of the most interesting ways to travel. I've couchsurfed off and on over the past several years.

Des championons et du herbe. The Southwestern US desert.
