Sorry I will not be in Trinidad from 4th October to 25th October (adventures in Korea and Japan).

I'm a geophysicist (ask me about that when we meet) but basically I am a fun loving nerd that loves to travel and experience life.

I usually don't get as much time to travel but I hope if I can host you we will have fun and if I can't host you I am sure I can give you some great advice about my lovely country of Trinidad and Tobago.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel but I realized I get lost fast lol I need some guidance for a few days when I first get to a country. I also want to share some laughs and get to know the local side of the countries I visit.

Interests

I love learning about new cultures. History of peoples and the evolution of our earth just amazes me. I love rocks (you will understand soon enough).

I am the type of person that gives willingly to those that need me most (donating my hair, building houses for habitat for humanity and just using my smile to make your day better)

Music, Movies, and Books

Gosh I can't express of my addiction to movies . I love scifi , mystery , comedy basically I would watch anything except horror (I need company for those ). I am slightly obsessed with Korean dramas though those plots are obvious I tend to get worked up every time.

I love music of most genres (I can be caught dancing to the beat of music) whether it be reggae, soca (Trinidad music ), steel drum or any drum (cultural styles are the best)... Even rock and classical music is fun!!!

I don't read often but if you recommend a good book I will try it out. I have book anxiety lol

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think every time I do something involving my fear of heights that's amazing (taking helicopter to offshore rig, rappelling , zip lining , climbing Aztec pyramids) but I must admit I still fear heights ... Who is going to take me skydiving?

Might not seem very special but I took a completely solo trip to Japan with 3 Japanese words in hand and alot of smiles and deep bowing. Somehow I didn't get lost and was able to go from tokyo-hakone-kyoto-hiroshima-osaka-takayama-matsumoto-tokyo ^_^ This is quite a big deal for a lil Caribbean girl.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you English though my Spanish sucks. I am perfect at hand gestures lol and survive on my travels with a smile. I can share my culture and you are gonna get lots of that since my country is made of many different ethnicities.

I can cook a bit but I can definitely show you were to get the best food.

Most of all I want to learn about you, your life, your travels and your culture.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, lots of laughs (at my not so funny jokes), my stories which are always fun and detailed since I talk a lot. I will always bring something from my islands with me on my travels so expect a bit of Trinidad temptation that will make you long to visit.
