Hi Guys,

My name is Clarissa and I live and study in Caxias do Sul, south Brazil. But for the next 6 month I will be living my dream to do another exchange program in Porto, Portugal!

So, I'm currently trying to make good use of my time by being open to new experiences. I believe if you do the same thing everyday your brain will clump your memories in to one box in your brain. You can look at your life by looking in one memory box and your life will seemingly have flown by.

If you have lots of new experiences you get lots of new memories that are so different from each other they are stored in lots of different boxes. To look back on your life will take a long time to look through all of these 100's of memory boxes... you will feel as though you have been living forever!

So I'm a person looking for experiences and I'm a person who would love to hear about your experiences!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love to go on trips to new places and to meet new people. So when I am going away I always try get to know the people and see what their home is really about. Staying in hostels and hotels can cut you off from the real heart of a place. When people come and stay with us, I'd love to be able to take people to some of the places that aren't mentioned in the guidebooks. Furthermore, when I go adventuring...I can't think of a better way to get to really know a place than to live like the natives do and walk where the natives walk :)
