ABOUT ME

Im Clarissa. I love to laugh, to learn, and to see and experience something new each chance I get. I believe in fighting for what you want. Im happiest most when surronded by people I like and love and laughing till my sides ache. Ive lost close friends and know how short life can be. I want to get the most out of every moment I have left. Im a military wife and a damn proud one. Im a proud mother and want the best for my kids. Im a best friend to a few and stand with them against anything. I believe in caring for the earth and all life on it. Wether its a plant or animal, hindu or christian, the earth or the sky. Its all precious and finite.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short so have fun and experience everything you can. Friends make everything better. A terrible time with a great friend is a story Ill be telling till Im senile :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch and home are open for travelers of all types. We tend to move alot because of the military so we like to travel around where we are and see the sites. We love it when we are joined by new friends or old friends. When we travel we like to take our time and see friends along the way. The best part of vacationing is the travel there!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While we were living in Germany I decided to go to Poland with a friend to do some Pottery shopping and catch some of the sites on the way. We stayed at a wonderful ladies house who not only took us in but the next day showed us all around and took us to a local glass blower friend of hers where we got to blow our own glass vases! A very special and unique experience. Thanks to her I decided to start hosting people as well :) And its been a wonderful adventure!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

All sorts of music but mostly Country, Rock, and Pop.
I have kids so lots of Disney Movies! But we also like to watch Comedy, Romance, Sci-Fi, and all the others.
I read alot... thats sort of an understatement. Ill read anything that sounds good or peaks my interest.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Does the Birth of my children count? Outside of that.... BungyJumping off the Rainbow Bridge in California. White Water Rafting in Washington. Going on a boat down the river in Prague, Czeck. Seeing the Christmas Festival in Nurenberg, Germany. Hiking on the Swiss Alps. I could continue on but this list could get very long.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

My first language is English. But I speak decent Spanish and German. Always willing to learn more languages or expand the ones I already know. Im teaching myself piano... if you know how Id LOVE some pointers. I can bake... really well :) And Im always happy to teach or simply bake for you.
