I'm a once and future traveler who has an academically geeky streak. If that line didn't prove it, nothing will. Currently I'm working full time as I save for a solo trip to Europe and maybe beyond. I'm pretty low-key, but love to talk and meet people. I live in Denver Colorado with a roommate. My only international travel experience is two weeks spent on the South Island of New Zealand. I loved meeting backpackers in the hostels and was inspired by the many people I met.

I want to meet people from around the world and get to know the couchsurfing community before my own trip. My roommate also wants to meet people and we're excited to open our room up to other people.

Went to NZ solo and picked up hitchhikers, partly to scare my family. :)
