About Me
I'm a dreadlocked, vegan university drop out that wants to see the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I was young I've wanted to travel the world, through backpacking, hitch-hiking and couchsurfing. I just think that every second of travelling should be about learning, and there are so many people out there that have some amazing stories to tell! I want to see it all! I originally decided to wait until I finished my degree to travel... until I went to university and realised that I wasn't meant to be there yet. I dropped out and started working and saving. I have now saved enough money to start realistically planning my itinerary! I started with a 3 week trip in Cyprus alone to test the water and loved it. I hope to start with backpacking Europe with my friend and her dog in 2016 for 5 months before heading either east to SEA or west to the Americas. I can't wait to meet fellow travellers, wonderful hosts and to see what this beautiful planets have to offer.!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18 I suffered badly from depression and anxiety (I know, I know, who doesn't right?) I had issues with parting with money and could barely leave the house to go to do my classes. I was given an opportunity to go to Indonesia to take part in a Conservation Expedition for 3 weeks. I was encouraged by my family to go and was eventually persuaded to go. I put the deposit down and saved and saved to get myself there. After 2 nights of repeat panic attacks, I just stood at the door of the hut that I was being hosted in... I took a deep breath and realised that I escaped all of my problems when I escaped the normal and the environment. I then went on to really help my piers throughout the trip who struggled, and discovered myself on that trip. I am thankful eternally to Operation Wallacea.
