PHILOSOPHY
Despite the hell, the pain, the drudgery--or perhaps because of these things also--the world is still a beautiful place and we should strive to be happy in it. This is my desideratum, and indeed it is an adaptation of that old motivational poem found in guidance counselor's offices, pastor's studies, and on teachers' walls, but I don't really care. It ain't a bad thing.
