ABOUT ME

Like sports; played hockey since I was a child, took up golf at a young age; volleyball, baseball, soccer still remain in my interest group. Anything active, in- or out-doors; hiking, rock climbing (indoor), etc.

King of backyard badminton ("anything goes" rules).

many people describe me: football (BC Lions), pizza (Uncle Fahti's), beer (GI Winter Ale)... good stuff.

a sunny day will cause a grin. I never complain about the heat in Vancouver (which usually doesn't go over 30 Celsius).

if my stomach isn't fed properly, with good/nutritious food, I get angry... always carry an emergency granola bar or snickers. A good night's sleep can always be followed by a good day's nap.

humour is good; morbid to childish

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am becoming more involved with the community CS culture, creating events and meeting CS'ers to show the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I requested a couch in Kelowna, BC, Canada (4-hour drive from my hometown! It was great!)
Portland, Oregon, USA - met a couch surfer from a previous Couch-meetup and surf'd at his place the next time I was in Portland.

Sports: hockey, etc.

Movies: anything that has a good story.

Telling tales.

Greasy/cheap food.

Good food - cooking and eating.

Collaborative communities in professional and personal life.
