ABOUT ME

I am very narrow minded and don't like to travel at all! Just the thought of having to deal with different cultures, having sand between my toes, a highway under my shoes, having tons of fun with strangers in shady bars, ride, fly, walk, hitch or sail a thousand miles, sleeping under the stars, learning about history, jam with strangers, eat food I don't know makes me sick. :)

Oh, and other things I really really don't like is playing music all day, trying to find that special sound that you've been looking for, having drinks with friends, playing poker and other boardgames, my study about media design and trying out new things in general.

PHILOSOPHY

He who know's that he know's nothing, is the smartest person in the world.

The beauty of nothing is so exhilirating, so magnifisent, so breathtaking, that even the mere thought about it, reduces it to nothing.

The fact that you have an opinion, doesn't mean you have to throw it around on television/newspaper/ AA meetings/churches/internet, every freaking opportunity you get.

Pasteurised milk is the best thing in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just got myself a house with someone else. There is still some painting and stuff going on, but there is a matrass so it could be that you might be able to stay. (If its cool with the housemate)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now, only great! One of the best things I found on the internet. Toiletparty's, my own summerhouse, university dome, ger district's, the poor and the rich suburb's. The places I ended up were all made possible by couchsurfing! I love it!

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Music...yeah music..I like music :) I likes it a lot!
Artists/bands/music I like:
Thom Yorke, Bob Dylan, Tom waits being all time favourites. Black keys, Angus & Julia Stone, Rodrigo Y Gabriella, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, System of a down, Black Sun Empire, Bob Marley, Gorillaz, Faithless, Elliot Smith, Damien Rice, Coldplay, Fink, and the list goes on. Al kinds of music. I like Almost every kind of music.

My all time favourite movie is Fight club. I can watch it 100 times and it still wouldn't bore me at all.

I like a lot of books! But I geuss the one that entertaint me the most of the past few was either Life of Pi and the trilogy about Julius Ceasar and the trilogy about Ghengis Khaan (I swear! I have Ghengis blood in me vains! I just know it!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The trans siberian express! IT was one of the greatest things ever! I love 3th class!! The russian people were great in the train! Drinking wodka, getting food having conversations of hours with only hand gestures.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well...I play guitar and gave some people guitar lessons. But only to beginners, so if you're a beginner guitarist, I probably can teach you a thing or two, either practical or music theory. And I'm always looking for guitarist who can teach me something new! I can teach you poker, chess and the Dutch language aswell ;)
