About Me
Hello! Let's see... Describing myself is always hard for me, but I'm going to give it a try.
I work remotely and try to travel as much as possible. When I was 19, I moved to Flensburg (Germany) from Barcelona to study and lived there for a while. Now, I am trying to explore different places and meet as many people as possible. I have two cute little cats, Abba and Freddie, who join me on a lot of my adventures. My dream has always been building a van and living in it with my cats, and I finally got it!! Now I have to build it, which is going to be a huuge challenge considering that I struggle even with IKEA furniture.
To start with, I must highlight that one of the things that interests me the most is learning, always, everything. I do it often on my own and with no more reason that because I like it. I read about politics (which I'm highly interested in), philosophy, literature, history, languages... This last thing is very important, because my goal is to learn a minimum of 10 languages. Now I'm focused on Arabic, but I will always be open to learning some words of your language!
I'm totally into humanities and everything related to them. I love reading since I was 6 and I like all sort of genres. I also write daily and love inventing new stories, characters and even personal reflexions.
One of my biggest hobbies is theatre. I performed in a musical twice and love it since then. Some of my favourite plays are Les Miserables, Waitress, The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, School of Rock, Grease, Fame, Hair, Rent..
Other things I enjoy are traveling (of course), good conversations, meeting new people, watching TV series, singing, playing instruments, drawing, painting, partying...
I'm very concerned about politics and feminism. I really love debating and sharing different points of view, but I must say that there are certain things that I do NOT tolerate. Do you know Karl Popper's paradox of tolerance? Well I'm intollerant towards intollerance. I can't get along with racism, zionism, LGBTphobia, or sexism.
About my personality, it changes a lot depending on the moment and the person I am with. When it's necessary, I can be serious, polite and mature. The rest of the time, I'm cheerful, talkative, loving and smiling.
I'm good at giving advices and I can be very analytical, but most of the time I tend to use intuition instead of reason. I like to think a bit before doing something, but when it comes to taking decisions I normally just do the first thing that comes to my mind, because I believe that if it was the first thing that I thought, there's a reason for it. I've got so many projects and I take all the adventures possible. I'm also very creative, dreamer and imaginative.
I'm full of goals and ambitions and I get new ones everyday.
I'm an ENFP-T.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here because I'd love to travel and see the world, but going to hotels and being a tourist is not as interesting as becoming integrated in a city's life. Moreover, I think that, as I like getting to know other cultures, learning languages and meeting people, it is a good idea to stay with local people who can show me how their lives are. Couchsurfing has changed my life on so many levels that I really think that everything I am now is thanks to it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Everything. Mostly musical theatre, pop, rock, Disney songs... Bohemian Rhapsody and Queen's songs in general are masterpieces! I also got really into Taylor Swift this last year, especially her latest albums.
Books: I love crime books, fantasy, political books, etc. My favourite right now are Camilla Läckberg's books, and I also used to be a huge Harry Potter fan growing up.
Movies: I don't watch a lot of movies when I'm alone, but I like horror films and musicals (I said that already). My favourite film is Les Miserables.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
• 2017: Quit my job and bought a flight to Boston for 99 euros. Then I did a route alone in the USA and couchsurfed for 2 months.
• 2019: Finished a half marathon. I'm not a sports person at all and normally can't run more than 5 kilometers, so I'm very proud of that because nobody thought I could 😂
• 2020: Moved to Palestine to do an Erasmus there, lived with a family in a very conservative village and had to "escape" the country when Palestine declared State of Emergency due to COVID, because the situation got out of hand. Bought a 20€ flight from there to Poland and hitchhiked through Slovakia, Czech Republic and Germany all the way up to Flensburg during the pandemic. Didn't get infected, but I ended up quarantining for whole two months in Spain.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach: Any language that I can speak, how to find the cheapest flights, ukulele, guitar...
You'll have my heart if you teach me anything
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can spend hours listening to them and also telling them things about my country and experiences.
I can also teach them Spanish and Catalan, my two mother languages, and try to talk to them in their native language.
I can even try to teach them how to cook a typical dish from Spain.
What I can assure is fun, nice company and a good time :)
