I've been living in Berlin as an au pair for a Franco-German family for 8 months. I'm spending a couple months backpacking around Italy before heading back to Berlin to change VISA and resume living there independently.

I'm half Italian, so feel a strong connection to Italy as a country. I'm really lucky to have relatives and friends there who can show me around and provide me with a local's perspective. I'd love to hang out with other locals and be introduced to new parts of the country. I'd be happy to show anyone around my new home Berlin in exchange!

Had the chance to visit my bisnonni (great grandparents) three times, in their hometown in the deep south of Italy. They moved back to Bitritto when I was a child and I was really fortunate to see them both again in the space of a couple of years, get to know them a little better and enjoy their company.

Moved overseas alone and have been able to start a life in Berlin.
