Hello! I'm a 26 yo girl from the Basque Country (a northern area of Spain). I grew up in a big town and, although when I was a teenager I had the chance to go abroad by myself a couple of summers, I actually think I started being interested in travelling in my early 20s.
I spent 3 months in Ecuador when I was 22. I couldn't have dreamed of a better experience there.

Currently, I'm an au pair in the Empire State. I've been here since August 2017. In May, I'm starting a one month trip within the USA with a friend to, hopefully, end this amazing experience in one of the best ways possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually? Need to save some money =S. However, I wouldn't be here if I didn't find interesting meeting people of different backgrounds and life experiences. I'd say I'm friendly and nice to have a conversation with. People tell me that I laugh easily, so if I laugh at your jokes, it doesn't necessarily mean that you are a good comedian. But, keep trying! ;) (I'm a horrible joke maker)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While in Ecuador, I went out to a pizzeria with a few friends. The place was full and we had to wait until we were seated in a table were the people before us had left a slice of pizza. I felt really hippy for the first time in my life and thought: "They'll throw this away, so I'm gonna eat it". A friend wanted to share the slice with me and I started cutting it in half... And suddenly, a man who had been having dinner at that same table came with a waiter because he wanted to bring the leftovers home. So embarrassing, but quite amazing for me! LOOOOOL YOLO
