Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to go to as many activities as I could, such as weekly meetings, lunes de terremotos, karaoke, parties, potlucks, barbecues, and cicletadas.
Since I moved to an other neighborhood I don't but I still host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I started, I had no experience, although in Poland and France I was hosted by local translators.
Now I have already hosted and I was even hosted when I was in Paris and London.
I have enjoyed all the experiences.

Now I'm an experienced CS Host and I really like the spirit. I'd like not to have to work in order to be always available, I forget that I'm not in vacation when I have visitors. It's always interesting to discover new people, new ways of thinking, of travelling, of seeing life, and it's like adrenaline not to know how is the person who is coming.

Intereses

I enjoy simple things of life, as simple as the sunshine. I'm curious about many, many things. I'm a translator and interpreter and my job makes me learn about many subjects. What I appreciate the more when I travel is the contact with other cultures and other ways of thinking, in one word: people!

I'm a former teacher of Spanish and French as foreign languages, I have travelled a lot and lived for years in different countries. I'm an amateur of many subjects like wines, cooking, children, animals... and ignorant about many more, willing to learn. I like talking but I also know listening.
I need to practice my portuguese!!!
