ABOUT ME

Friends would, and do, call me nutty, funny, smart, unusual, perceptive, and disorganized. Or at least not organized in any way familiar to THEM! I travel frequently and am in the process of redefining my occupation(s) and style of living. My recent careers have centered on public broadcasting and higher education. In both, I've been in management/administration, as well as production/professoring.

Interests

I like to travel, read, meet new people, and learn new things. Yawn. How boring THAT sounds, but true. Connections with others fuel my fun, so this community seems like a terrific fit.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music...late-sixties, early-seventies, those are the years that shaped my musical tastes. I'm open to new musical artists, preferably those who feature melody.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh gosh, almost every day I experience some crazy connection or "coincidence" that renders me amazed. Or I see some goofy scene that simples cracks me up. Have you ever visited the House on the Rock in Southwestern Wisconsin? Now there's a place that continually had me laughing out loud - mannequins suspended from the ceiling encircling an indoor, full-sized carousel and outfitted with wings? How awesome is THAT?!?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer hosts a pleasant, social, and easy visit. I take my cue from my host whether to chat or to be quiet, isolate or socialize. I'm an able assistant and can help with projects, especially with any visual concerns (website, printed materials, artwork).
