ABOUT ME

I'm an Australian with a passion for travelling and learning. I've studied for the past five years taking time off to travel in Europe, Asia, New Zealand and of course my home country, Australia. Having finished my degree (Economics) I decided to take a year off before getting into full time work and completed a big trip to Europe at the end of 2010 with my sister which is when I got into couch surfing!

Now I'm back in Brisbane but still have the travel bug and have done trips to Samoa, Fiji and Croatia since. I'm hoping to do an exchange in Canada in 2014! I'm also back at uni studying my Masters degree.

I love a good time and am always up for something exciting or thrill-seeking. I love adventure and hope to squeeze in a bit of skiing while in Canada if the funds allow. In Australia I spend a whole lot of time at the beach and have done as long as I can remember.

I get on with almost everyone which I find is a huge benefit when travelling. I look forward to meeting people from all nationalities and backgrounds!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new at the CS way of life however I was introduced to it by my sister who did a lot of CSing in Europe. We had two Couch Surfers from France stay earlier in the year and I realised what a valuable program it is! Everyone should be able to travel no matter what their financial situation. I am happy to show people around my home city and introduce them to some fun locals. I live at home still so its a little cramped but on occasions I can squeeze Couch Surfers in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had to French couch surfers early this year and they were lovely people. We had fun and they were rather independent which meant the situation was very flexible for everyone.
