ABOUT ME

Hello there! I’m an antique Book Restorer based in New York, but I’m originally from London, England. I moved to the US in 2015, and have lived in New Orleans and Portland, Oregon during my time here.

I'm pretty chilled out, and enjoy meeting new people from here, there and everywhere-I'm a keen traveller. I have spent a couple of years travelling for months on end, when time and money would allow, and have travelled across the USA many times, and have worked in Mexico, and travelled around Fiji and Australia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed mainly in the States and Mexico too. I'm also part of Helpx, it's kind of like woofing, working in exchange for food and board, and I've loved doing this too. You can check out my profile there:

Zainteresowania

I like making stuff; books, pictures, I had a brief flirtation with animation. I also love to write short stories, though this maybe because I'm unable to anything longer haha. I also love to dancing, cycling, walking, anything where I can move! And travelling of course; I love reading about it, songs about it, watching documentaries about it and of course, doing it! I love the feeling of travel, the process of getting on planes (though I am slightly scared of flying), trains, coaches. I spend a lot of my time going to gigs and watching films. I love going to the cinema, especially big, old classic cinemas.

Some of my favourite movies include; Rosemary's Baby, Heat, Swingers, From Dusk Till Dawn, Four Rooms, Romeo & Juliet...the list could go on and on. Music; Well, Deftones are my ultimate band, however I also love The Smashing Pumpkins, Cypress Hill, Chris Issak..err...Justin Timberlake...and lots more.
Booooooks too many books to mention, but; Death and the Penguin, Dress your Family in Corduroy and Denim, The Virgin Suicides, Middlesex, The Book of the Beach, The Female Chauvinist Pig...
