About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore.

ABOUT ME

I really enjoy the simple things in life: beach walks, sipping on coffee while watching the world go by, catching up with friends, my bed, a great book that I can disappear into.

I'm interested in seeing the world and experiencing other cultures.

I'm going to be traveling solo around Europe from July onwards (until I stop having fun or run out of money). I'd love to meet up with other people from different cultures and different backgrounds. People from my neck of the woods would be great too.

PHILOSOPHY

Right now, I suppose my philosophy is that life is too short to spend most of my time in an air conditioned building.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't used CS that much but I have surfed once and would like to do some more and meet up with fellow CSers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed on Anthony's couch in NYC for a week in 2010. It was pretty awesome.

Music, Movies, and Books

I seem to always enjoy something from Radiohead, The Black Keys and Kanye West.

The last book I really enjoyed was 'Tender is the Night'. I'm always on the look out for a good read so I'm open to suggestions.

Movies: Midnight in Paris, pretty much anything by Wes Anderson

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the amazing things I've seen are the Iguazu Falls. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Also, Queenstown and surrounds in NZ is pretty spectacular too.

Amazing things that I've done are: scuba diving (wrecks are fun), white water rafting, being a passenger in an old Russian aerobatic plane, and couch surfing (which probably doesn't count as amazing in this forum but a lot of people I know find it terrifying so I'm going to count it).

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Fiji, France, Germany, Italy, Mauritius, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Vanuatu

Countries I’ve Lived In

New Zealand, South Africa
