About Me

Welcome to my profile! My name is Claudina Augusta but everyone called my "Clo" or "Gusta" , both are names of my grandmothers so the result was a not very typical portuguese name!
Right now i'm living near of Braga (also a lovely city) however i study History of Art so everyday i have to go to my favorite city , Porto.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a curious/fascinanting/ lover for different cultures, cs it's the best toll. U can connect to people all around the world and learning always somethings, a new vision of the world, a new culture, a new language. Sometimes a lovely conversation can transport you for another dimension.

Music, Movies, and Books

My friends tell me that i'm kinda a old soulmate, with proud i say it's true but i have to blame my grandfather because i came from a mix family, my mother is half portuguese half french and my grandfather side live a huge part of his life in Germany so i have all this influences in my life. Althought it's french that conquer my heart , my favorite artists are french: francoise hardy, charles aznavour . As more contemporany music i like devendra banhart, Jacob Banks, Parcels, , Jain but my number one artist it's Benjamin Clementine.

as my favourite movie: the fabuleux destin d'amélie poulain (if u didn't watch , u are missing a masterpiece) ad Midnight in Paris ( the scene when it's reunited Dali, Bunuel ad Man Ray, it's a surreal moment).

Well i can't choose just a few books, it's an unfair for the panoply of the brilliant writers that left their marks on planet and as inspired us with theirs fascinating stories and thoughts. So im just leaving some brilliants artists that made a level up on my life: Primo levi, Paulo Freire, Simone Beauvoir, Umberto Eco, Angela Davis, Hannah Arendt, Giorgio Agamben, Gabriel Garcias Marquez , Pablo Neruda.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learnig how to cook because i'm sooo terrible but i'm pratice with the best teacher , my brother .
One of my favourites country's it's Spain, so in september i'm gonna start a new journey about spain culture, so to all my hermanos or another spanish lover culture, it's a plus i can share and also learn.
