About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To keep the world of information an open place and to hear and play great music
ABOUT ME
I'm always open to new things and new people. I talk a lot, mostly because I'm interested in things. I care about others and I'm always trying to help my friends and others who need it.
I really live for music and I'm starting collecting records for old jazz and a lot of new stuff too. There's just something great about listening to LP's!
PHILOSOPHY
So, I'm really trying to live by the, be good to others, and others will be good to you. So far it's working pretty good. I'm always trying to be open to people and I'm not afraid to "dive deep" into my own and others feelings. If they feel ok with that of course.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It's really my first time on CS, and I haven't really participated in any way yet, but I'd really like to get started.
Right now my space is really limited, so I can't host anyone unless they'd like to sleep under a desk. I actually had a friend I met during interrrail last summer (2011), stay here, under the desk one night when he needed a place to stay, but I feel kind of bad about letting visitors have such a way to stay.
I'm hoping on moving soon, so I can start hosting myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No CS experience, but I've had a friend I met on interrail stay here.
Interests
I'm studying data technician so, of course I have a lot of interest in computers, but really the focus of it is Open Source, and what comes around it. I really love the idea of making free open source software available to everybody.
Besides that, my focus really goes to music. I have spend 6 months on a folk high school doing nothing but music, and since then I've always been involved in different projects, wither it's playing in a band or making smaller recording sessions for friends. I'm mostly playing drums by the way.
Here in Denmark I have a group of people with whom I meet up with and play board games and such. One guy is in the states right now, so it's a bit on hold, but there's nothing like a good board game.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of different music. Right now I have Stan Getz playing, and my music collection has a lot of jazz, but I'm also listening to rock and progressive rock, and a lot in between. The greatest concert I've been to was with the band Porcupine Tree.
I have a lot of films too, and I'd like to think of myself as knowing films, but in reality I'm not that good at it ;) But I love a good film! (whatever that means at this point)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I was inter-railing around Europe, and ended up one night playing music all night in a hostel. Though it may not seem as much, it was the greatest day of that trip, and a night I'll never remember.
Long time a go I was on a scout trip in Switzerland. One night we agreed that we had to see the sunrise, so we hiked up a mountainside to get a good look. The next morning we were woken up by some cowbells on some cows near by. The sun weren't up yet, so we decided to sleep on. It wasn't for long though, before the cows became nosy about us, and ended going our way. In the hassle of the cows, we missed the sunrise but it was still fun.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about OpenSource and Linux and building blocks behind the internet. It's my work and study.
From playing music, I have some knowledge about music in general, and some of the theoretics about it. I had it as classes in Danish High School, so it's slowly slipping away.
I have a lot of things I want to learn. Know when I think of it, it's hard to categorize. If you know / are good at something interesting, guesses would be that I'd love to hear.
