ABOUT ME

I am a friendly happy person, I love being social, nature, dancing to bands and djs, going to festivals, reading and generally playing! I spin fire poi and staff and stilt walk, I spent 4 years running an entertainment agency with a business partner and friend. I'm always keen to learn more spinning tricks though!

Music, Movies, and Books

so much music. Progressive trance, psy, breaks, glitch, techno, punk, ska, indie, prog metal, grunge, electroswing... perhaps its better to list what I don't like much - jazz, country and western, happy hardcore, some house music, death metal..
books - I tend towards fantasy reads, but will read pretty much anything. I have only once started a book and not finished it because it was so terrible..
films - again, I will watch most things.. depends on the subject, I do love comedy and fantasy, and you cant beat a good documentary, especially something like david attenborough!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived the February 2011 Christchurch earthquake... intense experience, but made me appreciate life so much more!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always up for showing poi and staff tricks, I've held a few workshops in both, also I enjoy learning new tricks in both, as well as hula and other spinny circusy things!
I have knowledge as well on aromatherapy, so any ailments you have perhaps I could help! I am a qualified masseuse, sorry no happy endings though!!
