About Me

Embrace my fears.

Walk a highline, dive with the seal, do a full split & handstand.

Empirical lifestyle. I usually have sunglasses on my head because even in cloudy and rainy day I hope for some sun. I am thinking a lot about everything. I am not following the main stream media at all, instead I watch bunch of documentaries. I like old stuff. Daydreaming is my profession. I am a travel junkie who is fascinated by nature and wildlife. I am also constantly looking for new projects and challenges. I think I am kind of a restless case....

I love:

* To Travel. I am obsessed with exploring. I am catching every occasion to see something new, go there where I haven't been before (or I was and just like it) and see how beautiful or ugly those place are.
* Listen to other's stories, struggles, points of view.
* Meals which I have never eat before,- to try them and experience culinary adventure in my mouth (I am still struggle with things like worms etc. but I am trying to overcome my fear)
* Oriental food and spices, exotic fruits
* Sky - clouds, stars, sun rises and sunsets- I can watch it all for hours!
* Trees - how great are they!
* Animals - I like to observe them and find connection between their and human behavior
* To get dirty during attempts of expressing myself in art
* To take photos
* Learn new things
* Green color in all shades

I am living in Belgium due the fact that it's my husband's homeland :)

I prefer to regret that I did sth. then regret that I didn't do it.

I don't know if that one is really a philosophy but for me it's kind of.....
So..I am also a big twice thinker - almost 90% of things that I owed are second hand (clothes, books, furniture etc.) This way I am spending about 20% of the money which I would spent by buying them in normal shops. ( But don't worry I make exception for underwear :P) If I ever go to shops it's only during the sales. First reason for that is that I think that items are not really worth the asking price (or the cash is not landing in the right pockets...), secondly I learned during years, that things founded in Thrift shops are much more original, it's ECO-friendly attitude to consumtionism and it also helps to save cash for some great travel experiences.

Basically I prefer to spend my money on experiences which create memories then on things or items .

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies and books which are forcing me to think, reflect and are letting me see things from other perspective. I like documentaries, biographies and movies based on the real stories. For some kind of reason also like subjects like mental illness, junkies/drugs and perverted behaviour.

Some of the movies which I like : Reqiem for a Dream, Babel, Hair, Into the Wild, Sid and Nancy, People vs. Larry Flynt, Trainspotting, Running with scessors, 45, ImportExport, Morphine, Metropia, Persepolis, Holy mountain, Das wilde Leben, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Frida, 21 grams, Forrest Gump, 23, Wasteland, Samsara, Y tu mamá también, Everything Is Illuminated

Music: most inclined to the melodic sounds of punk rock variety, progressive rock and world music, folk, balkan sounds, gypsy punk

Some of best books I ever read: "One Flew Over Cuckoo's Nest" K.Kesey, "Subconscious Power" J.Murphy, "Walden" Henry David Thoreau, "Brave New World" Aldous Huxlay, "Year 1984" G.Orwell
