ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Salinas, California, home of John Steinbeck. Traveled as a kid to Mexico, Japan, Spain, Chile, and most of the 50 states, then backpacked in Europe and traveled all over Asia while living and working in Japan for four years. Currently a graduate student in California.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Several friends who are veteran members took me traveling/couchsurfing with them. I had a great time and would love to surf again when I can find the time. Available for coffee or a drink.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a great time travelling with veteran couchsurfers and surfing couches with them in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Spain, and Turkey!

Music: Jazz (big band swing/latin, vocals, New Orleans, straight-ahead), movie soundtracks, wind ensemble, classical, "old" oldiesBooks: mostly reading stuff for school these days but one of my favorite authors is John Steinbeck.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled around the world by plane, train, and boat in 40 days.
