我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Traveling has been a passion of mine for many years now. One of the best aspects of traveling to me is better understanding the daily life of those living in a place. Seeing sights is great to, but I want to get to know the experience of a place, not just what it looks like. Couchsurfing seems like the ideal way to do this. To come into the life of someone, however briefly, in order to gain insight into life in a place I've never been.

Of course, I would be lying to say that the budget friendly nature of Couchsurfing isn't a huge perk, but that's not all there is to it. I look forward to having conversations, learning what I can about a culture, and getting local tips on the best way to get to know a new place. Perhaps even making new lifelong friends in the process.
