I have taught, traveled, and couch surfed in Asia and hosted in Salt Lake. Now that I'm back in China I don't know why I ever left, this place suits me.

PHILOSOPHY

too many injustices occur in the world due to one's perception of the will of God..., Buddha, Allah. Tragic... I am many things... One thing I am not is a fanatic, nor do I combine with anyone who is one. Otherwise we are all 99% the same and it's that beautiful little 1% of culture and history in all of our veins that I'm fascinated by and will be a student of all my life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Back in Utah we were able to host a bit.. Unfortunately we happen to live in a small city in China with tip top security and are not allowed to host any wai guo ren.

lots of hosting in Salt Lake City, and I surfed in South East Asia as well

the number one stunner would have to be unbelievable experiences that will never happen again. I like adventure and if the sun shines just right I like to jump off of things. Once the travelin wears out i want to teach again. doo da. kung foo and the guitar are things i am no good at but must learn now.
update.... I am learning Tai Chi.
update.... I'm attempting Mandarin... but as we all know that's gonna take a while.

movies are lame and my memory fails me. Books and music make my world go round.
I have never found as much value in books as I do now in China, with only one other person around whom I can speak to with full use of my knowledge of my language. Expressing oneself to the fullest extent with language is contingent upon one's love of reading.
Music...
My favorite genre is Jazz.
With in Jazz there can be no wrong in my eyes, but I love Gypsy Jazz most of all.
The rest of my tunes come from all corners of the World.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

played with a lion cub, played with a monkey. hitchhiked through America, was the reincarnation of Suzy Hankshaw. Backpacked New York by riding the subway and staying with strangers we'd meet. Jumped off of waterfalls in Jamaica. Lived and taught in China... TWICE. I've seen pupils creativity and philosophies inspired by my passion and that is the greatest reward I could ever hope for.
