ABOUT ME
If I were to sum myself up in a nutshell, I am goofy, quirky, energetic, compassionate, and ambitious, oh, and a little bit brilliant.;)
Let's see how many adjectives I can use... I'm a realist, quirky, level-headed, easygoing, independent, ambitious, and caring person. I am naturally a very happy person, making me honest, open, and goofy. I'm definitely the type that appreciates the simple things in life and never takes anything for granted. I do my best to make life happen for myself and enjoy every minute of the up’s and down’s it brings. I enjoy getting out into the world, meeting new people, and visiting new places. I tend to smile a lot, like to joke around, and love to laugh. On a good day, I can be terribly witty and giggly. I can take a joke and make a joke at my own expense.
Just completing my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in Comparative History of Ideas (and a 45 page analytic and philosophical thesis paper,) I have decided to let school sit for a few quarters to enjoy work at a hospital as a CPA/ Laboratory Tech and Phlebotomist. I work with pediatric patients and LOOOVVVEE my job. Kids offer me a fresh and unique perspective on life and pediatric illness. I hope to start school back up to finish about a year worth of pre-medicine courses in order to take the MCAT’s for medical school.
I love to eat, trying out new foods and restaurants. I am NOT picky and will try anything and everything at least once. I can whip almost anything up from scratch and love to cook all different kinds of foods. I am a social butterfly and love to just go out to a restaurant or bar to hang out with friends, but I can also be chill staying at home reading or watching a movie with my roommate.
I love to learn, so, I am always eager to take classes and read books, exchange ideas, or just talk. I love reading, and love to talk books and/or exchange books ;). My favorite book/s (can't pick just one) is Crime and Punishment, The Historian, and To Kill a Mockingbird.
If you want to know more, please feel free to ask.
In about four months (May-Juneish) I am planing to move myself to Boston. I will know the exact week that I will be moving in April after I come to visit for my interviews and traveling fun :)
Even if you cannot host me for a few days, I would love to hear about your own perspective on the city; things to do, places to go and eat at, opinions on schools etc.
