ABOUT ME

My name is Ciel (C-L) I am fun loving, friendly and also can be a bit of a loner. Many of the activities I enjoy are solitary pursuits, yet I am a people person.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is meant to be lived. It can change in an instant, so I do my best to enjoy each day to the fullest. Whether that be the drudgery of organizing my taxes, or getting out on a sunny day for a bike ride and a hike. I am grateful for all that I have.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIE

I think it is an interesting way to meet people and it seems like a good opportunity to try something new and to break out of my comfort zone. All the interesting experiences happen there anyway! I am keen to meet fellow adventurers and people who would couch surf and host seem to be the open-minded fun people I like to associate with!

I loved Gone Girl & Queen of the South was another good one. Now that I have a Kindle, it seems that I can never remember the names of any of the books that I am reading. I like many types of music, hip hop really gets me moving, I like chill lounge, country, 70s rock, the only music I can think of that I don't really listen to is Opera, though I don't dislike it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have sailed the Greek Islands twice, which is quite amazing to me as I have an irrational fear of water and I won't go swimming in the ocean or a lake, it was just me and one other person who did know how to sail. We had the worst storms in 5 years and it was pretty frightening but I survived and went back a second time.

I was caught in a 5 hour cartel gun battle in Mexico. This is something I don't ever want to relive, though I don't mind telling the story!
