I am a French buisness student in Lille. Currently, I an studing abroad in Mexico.

I lived in Lille since my chilhood, so I can give you some tips about really unknow, chill places to see, but also the touristic must have of the city.

I am passionnated about history, so I can explain a little bit the history of France and Lille if yiou want to learn more about the city and the country you are staying in. I am also always in for a drink in a bar, a walk around the city or in a park...

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I want to travel all over the world but in a way that allow me to meet people and have friends everywhere. Couchsurfing seems to be a good option to meet local people, learn about the "real life" in a country and the culture.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music: I love classic rock songs (The Beatles, Kiss, Queen, Dire Straits, Iggy pop, Aerosmith... And many others) but also more fancy song of rap, pop, electro... I can like pretty everything

Books: I read science fiction books mostly, but I had a period when I was reading fantasy books, another one when I was reading classics... I read a lot, so I have a really complete overview of the whole book market. My favorit book is without doubt Harry Potter. It is one of the only book I read more than one time.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

My fist travel alone (meaning without my parents) was Australia. I was fourteen and i lived for two month in an Australian family in Sydney during French summer break. This experience was amazing, I discovered for the first time of my life something diffrent than what my education teach me. I discovered also a lot of beautiful places, beaches, cities... I went to school with my exchange student in a Australian High-shool.

I litteraly fell in love with Australia, and I am sure I want to go back one day, maybe to live a few time there.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I wouldlike to teach to travelers the history of Lille and France, both beautifuls, and full of little details that make them interesting and lovely: the little hidden places, the funny details of history, the weird bar in the corner... I want to help people to discover Lille in a different way, as not only the touristical things.

I want to be as helpfull, present, and friendly as I can, as people were with me when I was traveling. One day I met a guy in Mexico who told me: "I want to help you, because I know that without people, traveling is becoming so hard. It is my way to be thankfull to the people who helped me when I was traveling".
