Hey!

I'm Clemens, 25 years old, and I live between Regensburg and Nuremberg, Germany. I also spent about 11 years living in Budapest, Hungary. I am currently a law student at the University of Regensburg and work as a student assistant for a professor of civil law.

I love slow travel, especially by train or hitchhiking. I’m also really into cycling—specifically downhill mountain biking, but I enjoy road cycling too. I build and repair all my bikes myself, so if you need help with yours, I’m happy to assist! When I’m traveling or riding downhill, I love sleeping outdoors in a tent (if the weather is good, of course!).
I’m a very talkative person; for me, there’s nothing better than discussing interesting topics like politics, law, society, and culture with different people. This is especially true when traveling abroad, which is why I love Couchsurfing—I think it’s the best way to meet interesting people.
While outdoor activities and deep conversations are great, sometimes I just need to have a few drinks with good people and hit the clubs or house parties to dance all night!

Note on staying with me: I live in a small apartment in Regensburg and do not have a spare couch, mattress, or blanket for guests. However, if you have your own equipment (sleeping mat/bag), you are very welcome. When requesting a stay, please mention if these conditions are okay for you; otherwise, I will have to decline the request.
